This class is an introduction to the manipulation and analysis of data. Data is everywhere these days and it's important to be able to harness it! We'll learn how to write simple programs with Python and we'll also discuss ethical and social issues that arise in applications of data science. No programming or statistics experience is assumed.
In fall 2026, we will meet Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays from 1:10-2pm in Kingsbury N334. This class is usually offered in both fall and spring.
