Research

My main area of research is computer graphics, but I am also interested in computational geometry, metric space search, and cluster analysis.

Areas of interest:

Non-realistic rendering (borrowing techniques used by artists and illustrators): decorative mosaics, pointilism and painterly effects.
Global Illumination: semi-analytic models for complex light sources, shadows as a scattering phenomenon.
Geometry: hardware-assisted cluster analysis.
