Pegasystems is hiring for a Software engineer!

Reports To: Manager, Engineering – Integration Unit: Engineering – Integration

Location: Cambridge, MA

Job Purpose: To contribute to the development and/or maintenance of integration components and technologies for Pegasystems’ flagship product, Process Commander: Design, modify, develop, and implement software interfaces and features as required. Incorporate third-party software tools, API’s, protocols, and published specifications that allow Process Commander to share information with other software applications. Provide support and expertise for sales initiatives and customer implementations as needed. Contribute to the testing process by developing automated tests for all new components.

The Software Engineer is expected to use the skills of a well-rounded software professional to translate requirements into detailed design and implementation using Core Java, Enterprise Java, XML, and Pegasystems Process Commander rules (Instruction of Pegasystems-specific concepts will be provided as part of a comprehensive onboarding period). The Software Engineer will work closely with Test Engineering and Support during the project test and deployment process, and bring energy and enthusiasm to an engineering team that takes pride in delivering high-quality software.
