IT/IS MANAGER

New Hampshire Public Defender, the principal provider of criminal defense services to indigent citizens of the State, is a 9-office law firm with a busy, fast paced practice whose staff attorneys cover multiple courts. NHPD now seeks an IT/IS Manager who will be responsible for analyzing and directing all IT/IS related activities for this geographically dispersed practice. 

The IT/IS Manager will work in a consultative fashion with directors and other program managers to identify, recommend, develop, implement and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the legal practice and business operations. The IT Manager will also supervise IT staff and define and administer IT policies, procedures and best practices. 

Qualifications – undergraduate degree in a related field of study and at least five years of experience MS Exchange, Windows 2010, MS Server 2008 and later; SQL; VMware or other virtualization software; BC/DR planning and testing; LAN/WAN management experience. Document management, Helpdesk management and/or mobile office technologies experience will be credited as a bonus. Excellent writing and presentation skills are a must. Salary will be commensurate with experience; comprehensive benefits package provided.
