Quality Assurance Intern

MMIS, Inc. based in Portsmouth, NH, is seeking a part time intern to assume a QA role. We are a rapidly growing company and can provide a challenging environment where you can grow and develop your skills.

Primary responsibilities for the position include:

• Design, develop, maintain and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to insure our solutions to issues and bug fixes are robust and meet MMIS and customer expectations.
• Ability to own the testing suite and help drive continuous improvement in test coverage.
•  Able to execute functional/regression testing of the entire application, validate and regress bug fixes.
• With the team, able to set priorities, accommodate requirement and resource changes.
•  Analyze defects and make recommendations for solutions.
• Work well as both part of a group and independently.

An understanding of PHP, Drupal and MySQL is highly desirable. While you may not possess all of these skill sets, we highly value the ability to learn and come up to speed quickly. Other attributes include a hard work ethic, detail orientation and a sense of humor.
