POSITION: Technology Summer Assistant
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Under the supervision of the Technology Director and Technology Coordinator the Technology Summer Assistant will assist with:
• Install new/additional wire to enhance network infrastructure. Test & Terminate to industry standard;
• Unbox, inventory & install new computers;
• Image new computers with Windows 7 and district software;
• Remove existing computers from classrooms and labs and assist with disposition;
• Install Smart Boards;
• Install classroom overhead projectors; and,
• Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Minimum 1 year in a post high school level Information Technology, Computer Science or related degree program;
• Basic networking experience required, and Experience with enterprise class networks preferred;
• Candidates with experience imaging computers or using any of the following systems will be given preference: Microsoft Server 2008R2, Active Directory, Symantec Ghost, and Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).

PAY RANGE: Pay: $12-$14/hr. depending on experience.

WORK HOURS: 40 hrs. per week, 7:00 am -5:00 pm, Monday – Thursday. Some flexibility required and occasional work on Friday may be necessary.
