Kayak in Concord, MA has two permanent positions looking to be filled:

1. Email team.

• BS / MS CS degree
• Responsible for maintaining and extending messaging services. This includes constructing and measuring performance of various emails, exposing services to our many application servers. The attributes we hire will need to be a strong java developer, aware of technologies such as tomcat (servlets), and spring.
• We are looking for a sharp, hard working developer

1. Business Integration Team

• MS / PhD degree
• Responsible for maintaining and extending our ETL environment.
• We have a large deployment of servers collecting financial information, and various performance statistics for the web-site. These are a senior group of engineers solving large data problems and large reporting problems.
• We look for developers with strong SQL ability, and a meticulous nature.
• Our infrastructure is written Java, with a fair amount of Perl driving some of our processing.
