Host Integration Tools Internship Requirements

 

We are looking for candidates meeting requirements listed in Part-1, 2 & 3 below.

 

Part 1 – Must have any two of following categories

  1. Any one of following programming language
    1. C++
    2. C# .NET
  2. Any one of following scripting language
    1. Java Script
    2. Perl
    3. Python
  3. Test Automation & Execution
    1. Ability to automate manual test cases using Perl, Python or other scripting language.
    2. Ability to create Test Plan and/or Test Configuration Matrix
    3. Ability to write Test Cases
    4. Ability to execute Test Cases
  4. Performance Evaluation
    1. Ability to run performance test using std. tools like IOMeter, FIO etc.
  5. Environment Setup
    1. Ability to install & setup complex application environments like, Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, Oracle, SQL Server, MS Clusters, Linux Clusters

 

Part 2 – Must have any two of following items

  1. Understanding Object Oriented Programming Model
  2. Some design and debugging skills
  3. Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (word, excel, power point, etc.)
  4. General OS knowledge (Windows, Linux or VMware)
  5. Knowledge of Servers and or Clusters

Part 3 – Background Skills

  • Candidate pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering
  • Desire to learn new things
  • Excellent problem solving skills
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Some Presentation Skills  (interns will be required to present their project at the end of the internship)
  • Good Teamwork Skills – the ability to work in a team environment
