This is the only required textbook for this course. It should be available at the Durham Book Exchange, and you should find it available at some online booksellers (Amazon link is provided below). If you choose to buy this book elsewhere, be sure you are getting the correct edition, since earlier editions differ significantly. You should plan on purchasing a copy of this text early in the semester, as we will begin using it immediately. If you wait too long, you may find that it is no longer available in Durham and that you must order it elsewhere. I would also urge caution in purchasing from individuals online, since many students in the past have run into problems with this approach. If the deal is too good to be true, it probably isn’t!
