Due at the start of class on
Thursday, October 9
Submit the following
exercises from pages 112-116 at the end of Chapter 4:
1 thru 32
and 34 thru 70
- In some printings
of the book, problems 57 and 58 display the digit 9 in place of the
prime mark used to indicate the Boolean NOT operator
- You may skip part
e of problem 50, since the information needed to answer it is not
readily available to you
- Your submission
should be typed (diagrams may be drawn by hand if you wish, but they
must be neat and clearly labeled)
- You should show
your work whenever applicable
- Each answer should
be clearly numbered
- Your name and the
text "Assignment #4" should appear at the top of each page
- If multiple pages
are required, staple them together
- Some exercises
may require additional research (perhaps on the Web)
- Not all exercises
will necessarily be worth the same number of points
