1 thru 31, 33, 38, 40, 47 thru 49, 51 thru 63 and 66

• Your submission should be typed
• You should show your work whenever applicable
• Each answer should be clearly numbered
• Your name and the text "Assignment #3" should appear at the top of each page
• If multiple pages are required, staple them together
• Some exercises may require additional research (perhaps on the Web)
• Not all exercises will necessarily be worth the same number of points
• You will be allowed to use only simple arithmetic calculators (non-programmable and without conversion buttons) on quizzes and exams, so you should restrict yourself to similar tools as you work the problems
