An entry-level programmer/software engineer is needed for development of client and mobile applications for an environmental science company located in Newmarket, NH. Applicant should have a B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent, or be enrolled in a program with an expected 2013 graduation date. Applicant will be expected to work in a small closely integrated team environment.

Position is full-time or could start on a part-time hourly basis (15-20 hours weekly), transitioning to full-time within the year.

Applicant should have significant experience with Java development, and familiarity with Android mobile application development, in particular, knowledge regarding tools for using on-board camera and GPS is desired.

Python is also used extensively for running computer models, processing data, and for creating web sites and applications using the Django web framework.

Requirements:

- Completed or expected completion of B.S. in Computer Science or related degree
- Java programming
- Python programming
- Familiarity with linux
