Dr. Weiner received his B.S. (1973) from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst; M.S. (1975) from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and Ph.D. (1979) from the University of California at Los Angeles. He joined the UNH Faculty in 1979. His teaching and research interests are in computer-supported group work, logic programming and computational linguistics.
