Dr. de la Torre received her B.S. (1966) in Mathematics from the University of Cordoba, Argentia, a Ph.D. (1972) in Mathematics from the State University of New York at Buffalo, and a Ph.D. (1987) in Computer Science from the University of Maryland at College Park. In 1989 she joined the UNH Faculty. Her teaching and research interests are in the design and analysis of parallel and sequential algorithms, models of parallel computation and computational complexity.
